Luminous Echo is a one-movement work for string orchestra. It was originally a song for soprano and piano written in 1985 using the text of Psalm 119:9-16. In 1991 I arranged the song for eight-part a cappella chorus (SSAATTBB). This string arrangement is based on those choral parts.
This recording is a realization of the score using strings from the Vienna Symphony Library collection. Each string section uses five different sets of string samples.
